Threats against prime minister and cabinet are increasing, RCMP say

The RCMP are issuing a warning that threats against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet are on the rise. There have been 130 cases in the first half of 2020, compared to 100 last year.

Why is the RCMP (and CBC) not giving the numbers for the last 10 years? Perhaps last year was exceptionally low making this year look bad. This is terrible new reporting.
