Turning Gambit into an extraction shooter would be really interesting. It would give the gamemode new life, though for how long I'm unsure

I can't say I get it as a replacement to Gambit, but this does sound like it could be fun as it's own extra mode. Maybe have Drifter sponsor it, but have it be run by the Vanguard as a sort of exploration/tactical training mode.

Ok seeing this again a year later, this could be somehow incorporated to make the seasonal dungeon crawler modes into rotating playlist mode.

We should have a wave based game mode. Defend a tower or something and just fight off waves and eaves of hordes

As a Gambit enjoyer, I would play that mode, though it would be ripe with PvE OOBs exploits

Tbh it sounds really good my only issues are how you get motes cause we have done public events and lost sectors thousands of times, also the whole go back to orbit time just sounds repulsive and finally rounds not ending, unless all players are out is a bad idea cause some rounds could be really long.
