That boox palma as a desk tool is such a great idea. I could see it also being used to send yourself notes to Pocket and catch up reading material instead of staring at the screen all day.

The reason I clicked on this video was for the what I thought was a clock. How disappointed I was to find out how expensive it is. Yes I know it’s a full blown android device, but I’m just after a cool clock.

As someone who has the MX master, the best mouse for productivity, without equal, is the Logitech G602, which not only has more buttons but also allows you to scroll horizontally using the wheel as a toggable left/right directional input. Also all of those number pads are useless. You should look into a 3D connexion or shuttle contour pro v2 interfaces.

Dude, worry less about the mics, and play around with what you have. Best investment, in my opinion, is put the money you were going to use for the new mic and get a "Apollo Twin". Before then I would get a pop filter for the sm-57 and use it for voice over, you will have the sm-7b sound with a little eq in your daw. Then for your drums, take the foam off the MV-7 and put it facing down 2-3 feet above the bass drum. Move the mic away from you to adjust boomyness+room reflections and closer to you for more snap and brightness with less room reflections. if you play real hard (I'm a drummer myself) move the mic up.

For me, the mouse of choice is the logitech g502 x lightspeed.
For me It's perfect in every sense. Good shape and size, incredible battery life, amazing precision, good materials, 6 extra buttons, free scrolling wheel, etc.
I use it both for productivity and gaming, with a different profile so that the function of the buttons change accordingly.

What desk mat are you using? Didn’t see a link to it. The setup looks awesome!

Not a productivity mouse, however the logitech G502 has 5 programable buttons - and the scroll wheel can be pressed to scroll left or right. With mine set up I can do : Copy, cut, paste, forward, and back + scroll up, down, left, right. all from my mouse. Also it can be picked up in a wired for less than some of the Mx series.

I've found that the Keychron M6 is a comparable productivity mouse to the Logitech MX Master series. It also goes for half the price. I've never owned the MX so it could still offer additional benefits to the M6 but I'm very happy with my purchase.

I wish these kind of videos took into account that in a corporate environment you often can't install any software. I always wonder how this limits functionality of certain devices.

Logitech G604 is a great productivity mouse I use for audio editing as well as general use. Even more macro keys means I can dont have to move my hands as much for specific key functions and is great to have certain general use keys such as Enter and Backspace mapped as well.

Since you started this channel I've been amazed on the similarities between your journey and mine in desk setups and gadjets. On one hand I've seen you discover things I have been using for years, and on the other I've started using quite a few of the gadjets you recomend (like a tiny touchscreen under my main screen).
I do have a more profesional interest in recording and producing music(Even though my music channel is as dead as it could possibly be), but thats about the only difference.
Keep up the amazing videos!

Logitech G604 Lightspeed is far better productivity mouse than the chunky MX Master series. It's lighter, has 6 programmable buttons on the side, 2 on the top, has hyperscroll, can connect to and switch 2 different devices using a button that's conveniently placed on top of the mouse. As for the horizontal scrolling you can easily do it using Shift button on your keyboard and using your normal scroll wheel.

I use the corsair scimitar as a productivity mouse. 12 macro buttons on the left side, and with a little bit of Autohotkey magic they become modifiers for the scroll wheel for vertical and horizontal motion. I also use one of them to modify the scroll wheel to a volume knob.

my personal productivity mouse choice for almost anything is the ReDragon M908, it's classified as a gaming mouse but with the 12 side buttons and it's program, you have 12 full macros for anything and everything under your thumb, i have all 12 in use for my video editing, on top of the 3 16 button macro pads and full keyboard
it's genuinely one of my favourite mice for all things and i think you'll come to love it as much as i do

The Roland J6 Aria looks awesome. I would LOVE to hear what you do with it in a solo video!

Hey! I've got a couple of suggestions:
1. Get a cloud lifter for your mic. It will improve 100% I guarantee it. Triton Audio has a FetHead that's affordable.
2. The mixer is at most barely ok, it's got knobs so I get it, but If you're serious about quality, look into SSL 2+, the SSL SiX, or the UAD Apollo Twin.
