Short Malshi description:
The Malshi is a so called designer dog breed, which is a basicly a different name for a crossbreed. It is a result of crossbreeding two purebred dogs, the Maltese and the Shih Tzu. Most of the Malshis are first generation crosses and it is pretty rare to bred two Malshis together.

The Malshi is extremely adaptable breed and they will love to live in a house with a big yard, but also in tiny apartment. They will be happy anywhere, if you will be there with them. This is a dog with moderate energy, but due to their small size, it is not hard to exhaust them. Daily walks and especially a good playtime is a must.

I'd like to mention they play growl. When they're playing tug of war they'll growl but it's only out of excitement and not out of aggressive.
They're extremely smart you just have to get past their frustration in learning. I have a mini Aussie and I'd argue my malshi is smarter than he is.
They're content with lazing around the house for most of the day but also benefit from walks and play time.
Another thing I'd recommend with these dogs is socialization with people and other dogs. It's often neglected with smaller dogs but it needs to be a must.

Absolutely adorable. I have owned Maltese, Maltese X Poodle and also larger breeds. Just got a Malshi boy who is adorable and pretty active. Very playing and extremely loving. Highly recommend this X breed although they do not come cheap but, they are worth every dollar. Enjoy. Tks for the video
