DET has some good young players. Their 2nd pitcher Holto is sneaky good. He has only allowed 1 ER in the past 25.1 IP over his last 15 games. You can only tip your hat to Montero and the BP for a incredible outing today. Anything cam happen in Baseball. Any team can beat any team at any given time. Congrats on the win DET 👍.

Keider montero has gotten better every start since he's been up here. He was tremendous today. He could be a future ace quality number 2 behind skubal, he has great stuff, it's just his command wasn't great when he first came up to the majors. Since then, he's learned a lot, and he's learned how to pitch, and pitch with confidence, as he did today.

The Yankees pitching is flat, and the hitting is sporadic. They will not be in the world series unless they fix those 2 issues.

I hope the Tigers get a little daring when they hunt free agents this winter. Bring back Jack Flaherty. There's ethically nothing wrong with re-signing a free agent you've just traded. But Flaherty publicly admitted he loved playing in Detroit and he appreciated what pitching coach Chris Fetter did in resurrecting his career. I'm looking at a rotation of Skubal, Flaherty, Olson, Montero and Mize and seeing post-season. The Tigers have a very low payroll right now and can afford giving Flaherty five or six years as well as a contract extension for Skubal.
