I'm guessing that the Tecla switch is sending keyboard commands to the iPad that's why it can only do what Apple makes arrow keys do (hit right arrow key to move to next key, or left arrow key to go to prev key) and it controls the timing of each scanned key. In other words Apple doesn't let you select the whole row of keys or have any scanning features.

@AccessibleGaming The Tecla Shield does not emulate a tap on the screen, but that does not mean it cannot be used to play games. We'll try the games you suggest and let you know what their state of compatibility is with the Tecla Shield.

can't you get it to go down by row, then across when you're on the row you want? also the highlight colour needs to be brighter on the keyboard I found it hard to work out which letter it was around as its same colour as background.

@Katilea69 isn't it frustrating? We would LOOOOVE to contribute yours and many more enhancements to the iPhone/iPad (our other videos show how we do it on Android). However, only Apple can make these changes as they don't allow developers like us to make those contributions. We don't like promoting anything providing less than excellent quality, but if we (or others) don't try, Apple will never realize how much more amazing their products can be! So let's let them know!

Why would you need that it takes i hour to do something on the ipad wich would take 5 min without it

Can this device be used to play games? From a switch access point of view, the iPad is one of the poorest platforms for games, but could so easily have been great. Is there anyway your interface can emulate a tap on the screen to play the likes of Orbital, Namco's Star Trigon and the many other single tap to play games?
