Liverpool have 1 point less than they did at this point in the season last year so they haven't actually gotten any better, the only difference is that City and us have fallen off this year so they can potentially finish with the same amount of points as last season and still win the league. If we had just stuck with what we were doing last season we could've overtaken them, I know we're better off than we were at this point too but it was the run we went on toward the end that kept us in the title challenge last season and it doesn't look like we're going to be able to pull that off again this time around.

Just want to say mls is something special and Gabriel is a beast. Also, that midfield needs to stay like that the rest of the season. On another note, Havertz had another poor game(terrible first touch and always looking for a foul). I thought Trossard had a very hot and cold performance. Yet, overall it was some of the best football we played this season.

Another drab, boring set piece goal against a team with more injuries than Arsenal, from a corner that never was and a flukey strike from Trossard that the scrub of a goalkeeper should've saved.
