Nalls Aviation / Sea Harrier (SHAR) 2017 Promo Video

Показать описание
Presenting the world’s only, civilian-owned, “HARRIER,” owned and flown by NALLS AVIATION!
Based on the east coast, this model is a British Sea Harrier, FA.2, tailored specifically for the airshow market. The Sea Harrier, better known to the Brits as the “SHAR” (Sea HARrier), is a true thoroughbred, the last of the all-British fighters, ending a lineage that began with the famed Sopwith fighters in the first World War.
It’s now in the hands of a cadre of former Marine Corps aviators, experienced Harrier pilots, Test Pilots, and airshow performers! The SHAR is a true 0 to 650 knot airplane, and they’ll use every one of them. From the smallest airfields to the largest, the Harrier can operate safely from them. With the Harrier’s Vertical, Short, Takeoff and Landing (VSTOL) capability, we can operate from airfields and landing sites, that other jets simply cannot – -even grass strips!
Nalls Aviation also operates and has available for air shows an L-39C "Albatross", designed and built in what is now the Czech Republic, formerly Czechoslavakia by Aero Vodochody in 1982. The Czech spelling of “Albatros” traditionally only has one ‘s’ at the end, vice the westernized spelling. Both are correct for this aircraft.
The L-39 is a two-seat, single-engine jet trainer, capable of speeds up to 480 knots. It can take of and land in approximately 2,000 feet of paved runway, making it ideal to operate as a civilian jet from smaller runways.
We have now acquired a TMK 8 two-seat Harrier trainer. This is also a very rare aircraft. Only 46 of the first-generation Harrier trainers were ever built. None are flying today. This is the only one in private hands that is anywhere near capable of flight, and we are working on it to get it in the air.
