INSTANT LIGHT vs GLOW STICKS

Did you know that you can produce light during a chemical reaction – through a process called chemiluminescence. In the 1st reaction, instant light is produced when luminol powder is oxidized by hydrogen peroxide into its excited state. In this 2nd reaction, the chemicals from a glow stick react to produce a bright yellowish light. And these reactions are produced without the production of hardly any heat. If you had to pick one, would you vote reaction 1 or reaction 2 as the coolest.
