These are tips that I am using on my Concours 14. I have learned many over the years (especially with riding 2 stroke motorcycles). 3 that I forgot to mention is 1. completely filling a handlebar with silicone sealant. 2. cork at one end of handlebar and filling up with BB's and cork at other end. 3. filling handlebar completely up with lead. Yes I heard these from the HD folks. And they are what I think is radical. A few other things is motor in tune, wheel balance, suspension settings, tire issues and so on. These are great tips. I like to go for long rides and want to be as comfortable as possible, and these tips help that.

Clarification, it's the inline 4 cylinder motor that has a primary and secondary vibration!

I have a 09 Concours and my only complaint is the vibration in my throttle hand. So far I've added 2-inch risers (I know that doesn't help with vibration), and grip puppies. I have a throttle lock on order. I did find that mine runs pretty darn smooth at 4, 000 RPMs. That means I'm often in 5th gear on the highway. I do wish these bikes came with cruise control from the factory. That would make those long highway trips even easier.
