Fueled by the delta variant and states with low vaccination rates, the seven-day COVID-19 case average now surpasses last summer’s peak. But 70 percent of Americans are now at least partially vaccinated, one month later than President Biden’s goal. NBC’s Kerry Sanders reports for TODAY from Miramar, Florida, one of the states driving the surge.

I'm an EMT and had to wait over 3 hours at the hospital to drop of a patient. That's in addition to the 1hr response time to get to the patient from the time they called.

The whole thing is on the verge of collapse.

Oh yes, the deaths have "surged" in FL from a whole 25 to a whole 50 deaths in 3 weeks. out of thousands of cases and a population of 21 MILLION. Thats 50 people a day in the entire STATE, not just one county. This is not as deadly by a couple of factors compared to the original.

Are the deaths aligned with infection rates? Ah yeah no so continue on as normal with your lives.

Don't bother us when there are mere "concerns". Let us know when it becomes a catastrophe.

How about Today’s “journalists” be real journalists and explain how exactly any “variant” is determined when the PCR test is faulty already and can’t differentiate between the flu and rona?

Ron Desantis says we are just fine… so, everyone keep coming to Florida! Our local testing site closed last month and now everyone at our local businesses are contracting the Delta variant. Right before school starts… back to the same stress and anxiety again.

Are they hospitalized for Covid, or were they hospitalized for something else and then tested and remained asymptomatic? Did they die of Covid, or did they die of one of their comorbidities after they tested positive?

If a restaurant had a sign in front saying: " WE ARE NOT MEDICALLY, FINANCIALLY OR CRIMINALLY RESPONSIBLE IS IF OUR FOOD INJURSE OR KILLS". Would you eat there?

If only Florida had a governor that cared about his constituents more than his poll numbers....

I will share how this sort of Mendacity is arrived at:
The government calls the Hospital Manager and orders them to close down 1, 2, 3 Floors of Beds.
The general Public is not told of such things.
That's how the government can lie about the number of beds appears to be full.
Lets say the a Hospital has 575 Beds as 100% capacity.
Let's say there are 375 in-patients currently.
So that means it is 66% full.
The government calls the Manager of the Hospital ordering them to crowd up Patients to other floors and then close down 2 Floors of Beds, (which let us say is 150 Beds suddenly disappear).
575 Beds -150 Beds = 425 Beds become Hospital capacity.
375 Beds out of 425 Beds = 89% full suddenly.
The hospital went from being 66% full to 89% full through a brief phone call.
There you go that's how it is done.
This was a Dilettante Presumption Theorem: All statements of fact, opinion, or analysis expressed do not necessarily reflect official positions or views or any other entity, past or present.
