Each continent has a small dome shaped zone for each Empire which is their "Home base" on that continent. So while a single empire can own all the facilities and land, there will always be a small section for the other empires to mass their troops for retaliation.

there are actually several vanu outfits in existence because of ps1, some are even currently active, you should look for them.

There are many transport vehicles, and you have the ability to spawn on teammates, only on a limited basis so squad spawn doesn't get annoying.

Anyone could have an infiltrator, sniper, or pilot in 20 minutes of VR training in the first one. And that was a fully certed one, since you could get level 6 without leaving sanctuary. This one has a huge cert tree AFTER you start flying that reaver. Anyone can fly it, the real air cav will have a character with way more bonuses/options and they are even talking about guild specific certs so you can have an air cav guild with special stuff only attainable from a specialized guild.

The beta is under really tight NDA but I believe there's different settings but they don't have the system requirements out yet.

My one concern about this game is the pace. Getting killed while attacking an enemy base seems to require a long trek back to the action.
