I swear to god these two words had me shooked in sorrow...
He refused to let her watch in horror, so he comforted her while he withered and took her in a hug.
seeing as his skin turned pale and grey throughout the scene made my heart sink,
to think you're hugging someone while their face disformed into a mere corpse...
Whilst you stand there helplessly embracing them with whatever warmth is left for you to feel from their body,
as you're only left with what once "was" a living person...

I would've balled my eyes out if he didn't have the totem, if not then,
it would've been the "last words" he'd leave for the Wither Skeleton. 😭

The fact that steve comforts her even as he dies just so then she can feel at least the slightest bit of warmth of a hug and give her a shoulder to cry on even ashe decays is truly hartwarming

Bro, minus the funny minecraft moments, this shit made me cry. The story, yet short, really tells a proper story while holding the quality and charm that the series always had. killer job, cant wait for the next episode ❤❤

What’s so stunning about animation series like these is that they follow one of storytelling’s most important aspects: Show, don’t tell.

And then when the dialogue got introduced, it had all the more impact in an important moment. Beautifully well done!

This took so many twists and turns, from awe at the wither effect, to laughing at the minecraft runs, to tragedy and than to wholesome ith the classic minecraft peace sign. This was just an emotional rollercoaster

This type of stuff deserves some kind of niche film award, it made me cry for multiple reasons, made me laugh, had a perfect ending, and had stuff you can only understand if you're part of the content origins community. In other words, a perfect short film.

This is so sad yet beautiful. She knows that whatever she touches will wither away, and she’s a danger to others so she isolates herself so no one can get hurt.

But Steve doesn’t care, he can tell she never had any interactions besides the occasional blazes.
