Travis Tygart is the CEO of the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and was instrumental in uncovering the Lance Armstrong doping scandal. I recently had the chance to interview Travis Tygart about the Kamila Valieva doping scandal at the 2022 Olympic Games, her ongoing case with the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the Rodchenkov Act and the larger issue of state-sponsored doping in Russia.

Dave, I don’t always agree with you, but I always curious about your take on the issues because I am somewhat Russian and sometimes just do not want to believe doping in figure skating is widely spread. You are a star, Dave! Thank you for this crystal-clear and well structured interview. I think the money behind the endorsements from big enterprises and self financial interests of some sports federations sometimes cloud even meddle in some doping scandals of high high profile athletes. Anti-Doping Agencies (ADA) around the world really have a challenging job, sometimes personal attack. ADA needs our respect and support!!!

Hemp maybe a substance for abuse for some but using it as treatment for pain relief in the vocation of Sports should not be totally prohibited. The standards have to be set. This is going to be difficult incorporating the therapeutic use and then relating it to efficiency of tests. Very good points from Travis. Great discussion, again.
