Lauded as a progressive leader by the activist base of the Democratic Party, outgoing Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley is increasingly mentioned as a potential presidential candidate. Among other accomplishments O'Malley helped lead the push for his state’s “Dream Act” that gave undocumented college students in-state tuition, and led Maryland to be one of the first states to recognize same sex marriages. Are O'Malley's progressive politics a roadmap for the Democratic Party in a post-Obama world?

If you are watching my playlist thank you I could not find a video about the creation of O Malley's PAC on January 27 2015 so I have put this video as a placeholder to give you a feel on what O Malley is like.

Great question from Ax at :59+.  And a nice try by the lame duck governor to respond.

But the fact is O'Malley supported Irish Republican Army terrorists at the same time he went to work for Gary Hart in '82.

This is a fact he cannot deny.

Did O'Malley's heart go out to the families of the Royal Marines who were killed by the IRA thugs he vociferously supported during the Irish Troubles?  No.  He wanted more British blood spilled on Irish soil.  Innocents and NATO troops were killed.

Ax brought out the duplicitous hypocrite that is O'Malley.

I like this guy, not sure if he's a better option than Hillary though. Mr. O'Malley does seem a bit soft, and doesn't really show a lot of fervor in my opinion. If he were to run and get the nomination Bernie Sanders would be a perfect pick for VP. A hot and cold type deal.
