There is a technical reason behind this: Batteries, and also power supplies, have an internal resistance that determines how quickly it can release its power, and the internal
resistance of those cheap batteries is higher than on the better ones. People also calls it impedance which is resistance to AC signals. Some power supplies have an output
tap with a simulation of this effect, but I don´t know how well they nailed it. Any power supply also have a kind of damping factor - how quick it gets back to expected output
voltage when drained, but I am not sure if this also plays a role here. Maybe a good idea for a deeper study :-)

I'm very grateful for this, its very interesting. But music in the distant background is really
distracting.

FStoppers didn’t actually agree with Tony. When they ran a test comparing post with in camera they noted a difference. I think that Tony was wrong but I also think that the difference between amplifying the signal using ISO and in post isn’t THAT enormous and he makes a valid if flawed point.

“The guy that used to make them.”

Yet another bridge burned by Mason from Vertex. Good fun.

Eric johnson used to say that about batteries!

"My battery pack?" Does this mean you're a robot? I knew there was no way a human could play like you.... 🤖
