Great information Hearns, keep the vids Years ago a great slot car track set up was around $50 US dollars, today they are hundreds for a good one. O how things have changed.
I had an old set up that was not slotted it was a huge Oval high banked track and the cars ran off a spring mechanism, you placed it in a little unit that you pulled a lever and it tightened the spring you then set the car back on the track and it ran really fast for many laps
The cars were heavy and ran great until one tightened the spring too much and they broke...But it was a lot of fun That was at the beginning of the '70s do not know who made that setup, But sure wish they had similar today...I like slot cars but wich they had a slotless track setup that did as well
