Do your friends need to have curseforge and they have to make a custom mod folder thats the same kind as yours like 1.16.5 ?

Im on Force 1.19.2 Wanna play with my GF together, follow the stabs but still dont know how i can join the world OFC startet a lan in ESC menu but still no Idea Pls help 😂
