im a complete novice and this vid helped. im glad we can see the mouse and keyboard input on the side, as i looked at those when i was getting confused on how to navigate the software. i rly hope u will upload another part going from where this one left off, as the rendering and texturing part is not rly working for me T_T

It looks a bit time consuming, as I am a novice in Blender, I have not tried 2D-floorplan to 3D modelling but I have seen some addons like archimesh or similar, they seem to be faster workflow. How do you compare this method and its benefits over working fully with addons?

This way you don't have all walls with the same thickness right ? because it depends on how you have extruded the vertices on the steps before which you'll necer do that precisely

using a dxf is much easier if the dxf file is clean. walls can be made in a couple of clicks.
