Did anyone else notice that most of these "Fails" refer to studio interference, rewrites, and reshoots? It's almost like studio's micromanaging their filmmakers is always a bad thing or something!

I LOVE John Carter. I think it's actually a really solid movie with a great script and excellent use of world building to learn the world of Barsoom as the story unfolds. I love how it takes the time to introduce John Carter to the inhabitants of Barsoom and how they learn to work together throughout the film. I find the special effects / CGI to be absolutely beautiful and the use of color breathtaking at times. More people should give it a chance.

I liked Titan A. E. As well but I was 10 years old when I first saw that.

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas is a fucking masterpiece!

I love, LOVE, Titan AE. One of the few Western animated films not aimed entirely at kids. Great art, great voice acting, great soundtrack. Shame it didn't do so well. I enjoyed Final Fantasy too - it was a pretty amazing experience technically, even though the movie itself moved along a bit too slowly... certainly enjoyed it a lot more than many "must see Blockbuster" movies anyways.

"Titan A.E." and "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" are both great movies and I'm proud to say that I own them both. Cheers 🍻

You missed a key point as to why Posidon failed, it's a remake of a great older film.

I actually enjoyed Sinbad, Evan Almighty, Speed Racer, and Jim Carrey’s Christmas Carol

Seeing Sinbad on here was a major stunner to me. I haven’t seen it since I was a kid, but for whatever reason, it was an absolute favorite of mine as a child, only beat by Finding Nemo. I probably watched it over 100 times. I honestly do not know why. It just made me love it. So seeing it now, I’m surprised to see how hard it bombed. I’m jokingly telling myself that child me would have made it turn a profit at the box office.

It amazed me how badly they missed the point of Mulan in the remake. Its as if they didnt even bother to watch the original. Giving her special powers completely ruins the whole point. She isnt special, shes a normal girl, and THAT IS the point.

A lot of these films may have been Box Office flops, but they were still fun movies to watch!

when you bring back Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and even James Cameron and you still fail? that's a sign that maybe a series has gone on for too long
