Ground beef is the best value for money I find it’s very good value and quality here in Spain 1 kilo for about 7 euro or less u can make burgers, spag bol, chili con carne etc

Lemon Tree and Torrevieja markets are the best for fresh fruit, vegetables and nuts but most things are cheaper here than the UK. We tend to not use many British brands but still have to head to the British Supermarkets for diluting juice.

To me, it looks like the prices for most of the things there are still much cheaper than they are here in Melbourne Australia. I reckon it looks to be about 60-70% of the prices we pay for our groceries.

I think you have blown this up to be disproportionate, Mercadona is a great super market and their prices are still a lot cheaper than uk. If you wanna buy British brands your gonna pay for the, but we find Mercadona very competitive

Do you know why they sell grapes from South Africa ? When Spain grow there own ?
Lemons are ankle high on the ground near me, not harvested or given away on site ?
Aldi are good on price but they to are upping the price, also prices are usually increased when holidays start .
