As someone who lives in washington and has driven over the new bridges that replaced that one, the wind is absolutely crazy sometimes. Im not surprised that this happened at all.

Pretty incredible how much flex it had and still stayed together… made a critical error but it’s almost impressive how how twist it has going and still stayed togrther

Cross the narrows bridge everyday for work 😅 just earlier this week they were fixing it for a loose bolt.. super gorgeous though!

You can Scuba dive on the wrecked bridge reef below the new Narrows Bridge, and the one built after this one fell down. There are two now both doing well but are pay tolls now. The dive is a drift boat dive because the current is so fast, it’s like being swept down river under water, the boat picks you up after you shoot out at the other side depending on which way the tides are going.
