Jack was the best all-around musician of our generation. Seeing him on-stage was one of the most important highlights of my life. The man was a full blown genius.

Eric could play the guitar, Ginger could play the drums, but Jack was Cream, and this is undoubtedly one of their best songs!

Sometimes I feel pretty good about my music, and I do BUT...then along comes a guy like Jack Bruce and puts me in my place.

What a find. I've always wanted to hear Jack play this since the Cream version. And here it is after all these years. In great sound quality with Jack in great form. Wow!

This little Scots guy who originally asked, “can I play?
I’m so glad you got your turn because you eventually left us all such a beautiful legacy.
Thank you, Jack A. Bruce,

I never really focused on Jack till this century… I grew up my high school teeth on 60s music. I heard the very first airplay of Cream, Sunshine of Your Love ❤️ and of Led Zeppelin… Doors and Hendrix, but only in 2011 did I keep hearing Jack’s voice in my memory. It was then that I realized that Jack Bruce was the Voice of Cream.

I especially like Passing The Time

Jack, I really miss you and I wish i wasn’t too young to go to your concerts when you were in Los Angeles in 1967

Without Jack, Cream wouldn’t have existed. A great guitarist in Eric as with Peter (Ginger) a great percussionist - but great guitarists & percussionists are nothing without a lead singer, who, in the case of Cream, was Jack, an exceptional bass player, who read music & understood musical composition.
Jack WAS Cream, the other two helped forge an exceptional mix.
I’m glad I eventually got to see you play bass & sing. You were, in my beliefs, exceptional.

What a beautiful voice Jackie had, his voice just soared!
Apart from being an accomplished musician, he was a great ambassador for Glasgow, Scotland,
God bless you, Jack Ascher Bruce,

Who else could compose such a magnificent and sublime piece of work?

That voice, though...
Luminary, visionary, genius and beyond.
Saw him right around this time at the Bottom Line NYC, a small venue for such a giant. Had always thought if i could hear him play one song solo, this would be it, but never believed it wpuld happen. He opened with As You Said and blew my mind and my ears from that moment for the next 2 hours. What a blessing.

One of my fave "ballads" from Wheels Of Fire. Lovely to hear this live version.

So great; this is a weird and inaccessible song but it's one of my favorites from Jack Bruce anyway. It's great to see him playing it live and playing the rhythm guitar part to boot!

Yeah. My personal favorite. I was floored the 1st time I heard this....still resonates w/ me. Jack's voice is incredibly powerful and spot on. One of the best vocalists in R&R. He was a classically trained cellist in the beginning I believe

Certainly one of the greatest rock musicians we have seen & heard, he was a true musical genius with one unmistakable voice . I never saw Cream but i did get the chance to see Jack with West Bruce & Laing back in 72 at Constitution Hall in Washington CD. We miss him dearly, his vocals, writing style & of course that awesome grasp of how to play an instrument. This was really very cool to see as you don't see him play guitar all that much & he's a good as hell guitar player which here is more than apparent . Loved this track off Wheels Of Fire.

A rare chance to see Jack on the guitar. One of my favourites on “Wheels of Fire”, a song which gave a preview of his solo career. Exciting.
