Hey toby!I am George from Dennmark. I am taking my C1 Advanced exam tomorrow (Omg I am so nervous) and I have to admit one thing!I am impressed!
Oh also...I know this might be a LOT to ask(like seriously, you can totally desregard this comment if you don't want your time waisted foe some stranger😢)but umm...I was wondering...if you could tell me how you find this C1 Essay of mine about The pros and cons of social media...(I am just self taught and I have never met such a friendly ytber that makes magnificently illustrated videos that are exclusively devoted to English teaching!)

Ok so without further ado, this is my essay!

"The pros and cons of social media "

The majority of individuals argue that social media is something revolutionary that humanity should embrace and feel blessed to possess, while others support the idea that socializing online can lead to a destroyed self-image, real-life isolation and even paranoia.The question is, how significantly can social media influence us and what exactly can occur if we are not careful when browsing on it?

On the one hand, using social media is a wonderful way to express oneself and stay in touch with others .Online communication is capable of helping people bond with one another, eventually building deep, long-lasting friendships with steady foundations .
Moreover, the usage of the social media networking sites can enable individuals to engage in spontaneous conversations without hesitation or anticipation.In other words, social media has the ability to transform fragile, introverted individuals into outgoing and unconventional people who confidently break the ice and connect with others.

On the other hand, social media can be extraordinarily harmful.It comes in handy for individuals who want to convey superficiality .Prejudiced opinions, discrimination against others ... all of thosè messages would spread like wildfire.The complete destruction of many individuals' self-esteem would be inevitable.In fact, social media can be used as a tool for exploitation and human rights violations .

In short, while social media has numerous exquisite features, there are still lots of drawbacks to its usage.In my view, this groundbreaking software can be both beneficial and harmful at the exapt same time.Furthermore, I reckon that it is up to each individual to determine whether social media sould be considered a convinient and safe-to-use platform or a devastation-bringing machine.
