When I was in high school, a buddy of mine wrote a BASIC program much like yours here. It was in the math lab, on an Apple II. He printed the s-word at random locations on the screen. When our math teacher saw this program in action, he was irate. He even threatened to bend and fold the floppy disk on which the program was stored. It was a tense moment.

Hey javidx9. I wish you more success in 2020. I wanted to suggest a video (series) idea. I have always loved racing and growing up I played a lot of racing games.

Some games in particular have stood out, some of them being Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix games. Those games were ahead of their time, particulary the first one which was released in 1991.

At that point most games used hacky 3D graphics while this one had real 3D incorporated in the game.

You think you can make a video series recreating that game using the console game engine and the 3d engine? It would be nice to know how Geoff managed to build such a game considering the limitations at the time so you could also talk about different ways of optimizations in order to use as little resources as possible.

Great to see some BBC BASIC love. Now, all we need is some RISC OS 5 love too. It's still getting developed and improved. But it does need some new games!

Ha, nice! Are you able to demo some simple assembly with the BBC? I recently learnt that this can be done in-line with BASIC and would like to see it.
