Yeti's SB120 is their latest and greatest short travel trail bike that is ready for anything. This latest Yeti benefits from some features that we are stoked to see such as the threaded bottom bracket, integrated cable management, SRAM's universal derailleur hanger and of course fully modernized geometry and frame design. One of the most integral parts of this new bike that makes it so capable is its fully revamped short travel trail platform which allows the SB120 to be pushed to its limit and remain composed and ready for more. The frame color shots were great, but I cried a little knowing what those frames went through for such amazing pictures.

$6300 for the base model with Fox Performance and Slx is absurd

Idk who is paying over $4k for a far east frameset, that's ridiculous. It looks good though 😂. At least it's got a threaded BB now. That's almost or close enough to Allied or the Ibis made in the US frames. On the plus side, the SB100 and SB115s are going to be super discounted so watch out for that.

I can’t wait to see Jeff’s customized build kit on this Yeti.

So now 5 mm intervals is new thing and each 5mm different suspension travel will "take the Best from both worlds and combine them into one" ? 😁

As somebody with multiple trail bikes with drivetrains from both SRAM and Shimano, I'm floored how SRAM's components are seemingly top ranked on these build kits. Looks like a fun bike in any spec, though.

Any bike can be "do it all" depending on what "all" is. I'd love to try a shorter travel bike like this someday though.

Find someone that looks at you the way Jared looks at Yeti's. Haha

11% Progression ratio on 120mm of rear travel. For "do it all" youd need to run like 10% SAG otherwise you are gonna bottom out on a road curb. Id rate this as "capable downcountry bike".

Is there a reason Yeti dropped the SB115 from their website current lineup? I don't think the SB120 can replace it for XC marathon as the fork isn't an SC and the frame is too heavy.

Thanks for the video dudes. But, 43hundo for the frame? Bananas

Unlike Jeff, I really am a weight weenie. I am 72 years old and still ride fairly well. But I need a very lite bike for those steep climbs. What is the weight of the lightest build of this bike? It looks fantastic.

The SI servicing is such a PITA with these bikes. I bought a 130Lr last year, would have gonefor this if it existed.

I'm sure this is a killer bike! Would be interesting to do a comparison with the Ripley.

I like Yeti, however, you do need to pay a premium compared to other brands such as Ibis.
But if you're loyal to Yeti it doesn't matter...LOL. Me, I'm biased toward Ibis....but that's how a brotha like me rolls!...LOL!!😂
