Between cheap struts and worn out sway bar links car felt like a wallowing pig to drive. Better struts and new links and it drives like a dream.

True. My mazda 3 developed a clunking noise, and this was the issue. Easy to do. It took me 1 hour for both sides and I'm not a mechanic.

My car dealership quoted me $500 CDN to change the rear links. Seems extremely excessive. My car only seems to roll when I make left turns. Is it the links then? And are sway bar links the same as rear links? Thanks.

I lifted mine with 3 inch keys..do I need to by long links?

What prevents the nut from getting loose considering it is not a lock nut of any kind? I put thread locker on mine just in case, but I think it could still get loose and fall off

Changed mine in my truck took me 40 mins a floor jack, ratchet set & a channel wrench.

Why are mechanics and do it yourselfers so optimistic on the amount of time to do work on your vehicle ?? This fellow said fifteen minutes ?? It's not going to take an entire day but fifteen minutes to do both sides ?? Give me a break.

For anyone, coming to the comments. If you gone over dips, holes, railroad tracks, or just start your car and turn out of your driveway and you hear a rattle coming from under your car, it’s most likely your sway bar links. They might have worn out or a bolt might be bent and can’t tighten as tight as need be and will need to be replaced

Only takes a few minutes if you don't live in a rust area I had to cut mine off in a tight space (2009 Honda civic)
