I like how Kandy made sure to write her name with only one T.

this comment section is wild. my opinion as a trans person is that it's actually really hard to call someone out for offensive language, especially when you have to continue working with or being around them for an unknown amount of time. saying "hey, don't call me that" or "please don't say that around me" can be taken gracefully, and it's great when people take it well, but sometimes people get VERY offended by being told that they shouldn't say tr*nny/misgender someone/whatever.

sometimes it's just not worth the fight. sometimes you're scared to take the chance because you don't know someone that well. sometimes you're surprised and don't know what to say, or you're too tired to bother, or whatever. i would guess that poc feel similarly when someone is being racist around them– it's a fight that minorities face every day, and it's draining.

i don't know what happened. elliott has a habit of defending herself by saying things like "i didn't know", but not truly apologizing. gottmik can be a diva. neither of them are perfect people. however, it would be completely normal and understandable if gottmik did witness transphobia from elliott, and ignored it in the moment to just get through the day and maintain a civil working relationship. they're coworkers, they don't need to be friends. trans people do not need to educate every single person they meet. it's shady to air it out on a podcast if you never corrected the person who offended you, but that doesn't mean elliott deserves a free pass IF she behaved that way.

Mik, Kandy n Tina trying hard to be the ROLASKATOX of their season 😂 They try but they can’t

Mik, Kandy, and Tina were mean girls. I'd take what they say with a grain of salt.

I wouldn't put it past Elliott but i refuse to take anything gottmik says seriously. She seems so immature

elliott was on nina’s channel and she asked e about it all .

Just saying, the only person who confirmed it was Eliott was Kandy, so if Elliott feels the need to defend herself to gottmik, it feels like she’s kind of incriminating herself 🤷‍♀️

the AS 9 lawsuit makes me think that Gottmik is involved in it...Gottmik always gives mean vibes, like you're beneath her

idk why elliott think it’s everyone else’s job to tell her she’s being offensive and teach her why when the fans have already been doing that for her. plus she still is rlly bad at giving public apologies. she always excuses herself and says like “well i didn’t know any better or i didn’t think it was wrong at the time” instead of saying “i was wrong, i was offensive, i shouldn’t have done it and im sorry”

Gottmik is just immature and mean and it really showed up on all stars 9, i haven't watched the full season because it felt boring but it seemed that she only connected with Vanjie and just underestimated everyone else as specially Angeria. As if she's famous and everyone else is just a drag queen

i hate hate hate it when ru girls exhibit such unbecoming behaviour because as much as they’re drag queens and they’re not supposed to be good people i really do look up to them so much, like i honestly never dislike any of them for drama that’s depicted on the show because im a big believer in the fact that editing can push any storyline the producers choose. but when its stuff like this and it comes straight from their peers it makes me sad because i just wanna love them all :( and it’s like either elliott DID say that or mik and kandy were lying and neither of those options are good things. it’s just so sad to meeee like i just wanna love you and your art why are you doing that 😭

Honestly can we forget about got milk already? She comes across as hateful and bitter. Her and violet give me the ick if I’m being completely honest….

i think mik is soooo overrated and a total biter …. she takes from others and acts like it’s her own idea. i’m so over her…. on one of the episodes mik said “i’m bored “ in that voice and i immediately thought of spice bc that’s the first thing she said in her drag race performance when she was in the coffin and ru laughed hard .
i love violet but i’m sick of mik

After watching Elliott on Nina’s Rawview, I gotta say fuck Kandy and Gottmik for their incessant bullying. It’s not cute…

Can’t trust Gottmik after she has been dragged, mistreating the PA’s at World of Wonder. There are so many black queens that work with Elliott but people would rather listen to Gottmik and Kandy’s lies. How wild…

Gottmik and Kandy are giving bully vibes. I mean, shouldn’t Kandy also check her friend Gottmik for her rude behavior with other staff?

If this were the case, and Mik said what Elliott said she did, Elliot should've posted it online. She should have reciepts and her phone company would

If no one is willing to call out a person using terms they find offensive, AT the time they heard it, DON'T bring it up after the fact, and behind their backs! Is this grade school?

And please remember a few of those phrases YOU now deem 'offensive' were probably introduced by our community to tease each other, or offer quick code words within our friend group. You'd probably be appalled at some of our team names (that we laughed at and loved).

And yes, I'm OLD, but I struggle to understand why all the terms, definitions, descriptors and/or identifiers we found, developed, or adopted for ourselves, are now being openly attacked as hurtful, phobic or offensive?

My friends and I were once confident within our place in the community, only to discover that in the last decade, a small but vocal percentage have challenged, demanded, and now changed, portions of our vocabulary, slang and its definitions.

Interestingly, I've NEVER been asked what my chosen phrases or identifiers are (not that I actually want to single out), yet I can't help but overhear theat same handful who don't hesitate to tell us, loudly, and as a group what words/phrases we can or cannot use as they will NOT be tolerated!

Maybe that's why tolerance within the LGBTQ community is becoming more and more elusive. No one likes to be muzzled, and no one should be that eager to identify as a victim of vocabulary, when the bottom line keeps shifting.

Speak clearly when you share your own verbal boundaries, but please NEVER attempt to speak for mine.
