Last year while I was vacationing in Scotland, I accidentally ran over a couple of haggis that were mating in the middle of the road. I felt terrible. I think cars are the number one threat to haggis today. They are slow moving, have bad eyesight, and like to sit in the road in the evening to stay warm. It's a wonder there are any left in the wild. I'm afraid that future generations will only see them in zoos.
