Please enjoy these simple recordings and feel free to give suggestions and requests! Thumbs up?... What did you like? Thumbs down?... What can I change for you?

Would you like to request hymns for this channel? Feel free to do that in the comment sections of these videos. Here's the guidelines for that:
1.) Limit 2 per person (feel free to request 2 more when yours are posted)
2.) Only public domain hymns (Pre-1923)
3.) Include author/composer and date of composition
4.) Be patient. This is one of many hobbies of mine and not a full time job. It may take a few weeks to a couple years to get yours done.

Keep in mind that the main purpose of these videos is to help folks learn harmony parts to hymns and not to sound perfect. These recordings will sound a touch raw for a few reasons; I am not a trained singer, I am using very simple recording hardware, my recording 'studio' is a spare closet that is just big enough for me to fit in. ( :

If you enjoy the way that these hymns are sang and want to experience them in person, stop by just about any church of Christ and they'll likely be singing them the same way. Without instruments.

My recording process:
-Record each part on a Rode NT1-A on to a Zoom H4 recorder
-Some pitch correction in Melodyne
-Mix in Mixcraft 6
-Combine audio and sheet music in Corel VideoStudio X7

To my knowledge, most of the hymns that I record and post are public domain (except the ones I've obtained permission for). If you notice one that is NOT public domain, let me know as soon as possible so that I can take that video down.

My great grandma passed away in January and at her funeral we sang this song before she was buried. It was her favorite. Now anytime I miss her, I listen to this

This is worship sublime. Far surpassing the mere "entertainment" practiced in contemporary worship.

This song is touching my heart. Beautiful and encouraging words. My mum passed away two weeks ago. I know she in the heavenly garden and smelling and touching flowers. Thank you so much.

One of my favorite song leaders from church passed away back in June. There was many songs he led that remind me of him. This is one of them. He was always so cheerful & happy leading this song in worship. I remember seeing a smile of joy on his face leading it.
We buried him on my 14th faith birthday (that’s what I call the day I was baptized). It didn’t feel right to do a small celebration this year. However, I’m glad he’s gonna be in that beautiful paradise valley. He would absolutely love this channel.

It's been a long time coming for that one! I don't even remember how long ago it was that I requested that one! Fantastic though! Loved hearing your cousin (I think that's who it was at least) do the Alto. That's fun. Favorite all time hymn. Just love it. Impressed with your jump from Ab to F. Well done. I've been advised to slide on that one. It works. Hope to soon be able to lead it. Progressing well! Thanks again! Now for Lord I Believe to come back up and my two have made it!

Thanks for sharing! I was wondering if you could sing Who Shall Stand Before the King. I learned it at camp and loved it! I haven't been able to find the lyrics online though.
