Black bear visits active wolf den in northern Minnesota

We had assumed, incorrectly it seems, that other predators such as bears don't really visit wolf dens in our area in the spring but this is the second active den that we monitored this year that a bear visited. We think all the pups made it but cannot say that with absolute certainty!

Thanks so much for sharing these incredible hidden cam footage of the fascinating wildlife and daily dramas that play out.
I'm thinking of renovating an older bird house and attaching a web cam, but I'm not sure which camera to use. Obviously safety and minimal, if any, intrusions as possible.
