I actually streamed this game with my friends for shits and giggles and it's so funny how we slowly realized the game doesn't quite look the same and how even the names were different because I could have SWORN the game was always "purple place" and not "purble place" but maybe this is my own mandela effect 😂

Maybe the reason why I don't like the Purple Place menu look is because it feels a bit less grounded--like the shadows are just literal black blobs of airspray rather than actual shapes, and the lack of definition on the houses just feels plastic and fake while Purble Place actually feels more cohesive and had more care put into the design.

this game was just put together haphazardly and (probably) not much attention to detail---just enough for anyone who feels nostalgic to go and get it to try and relive the experience.

Oh my childhood game...even though in Purble Shop, there are certain eyes shape with sound effect that kinda scared when i was kid ngl (it was sound like "ufo alien" effect?? I'm not sure how to describe it but i think its a pair of yellow eyes one as far as i remember it)

When I was playing Purble Place over a decade ago, my favorite minigame was the cake making one. I suck at memory matching games, and the face one never made sense to me. The cake one, though? Chef’s kiss in my opinion.
