brilliant idea. imagine a drone without worrying about the camera or direction of the drone. pp or editing is always needed in drone videos anyway. i find myself less critical of the image quality in a drone, i don't know why because it is video and most shots are slow moving.

missed opportunity, I think, to not have this compatible with other drones. Would love to pair it with a Mavic 3 or the mini 3. Love my insta360 one x2. I would have purchased it immediately if it were compatible with other drone models

Checklist before you buy
- camera weight is 192 grams - make a test with your drone if it can fly with this extra load
- the design is for Mavic Air 2/2S (remember for the video phrases "click and stick around the drone" and "do not interfere with cameras" - meaning normal camera and 6+ more cameras for the drone obstacle detection cameras) - it has some special holes, and empty spaces for these cameras - Insta360 is answering here that you should have Mavic Air 2/2S
- I added special devices on DJI Mini 3 Pro (water landing gear), and there are issues (Mavic Air 2 has 600 grams and supports 200 more, other drones have 250 grams and support only 100 grams more)
- The main issue = is checking the legal requirement for drone weight and your pilot license (like Europe A1/A3 ...A2) for flying an 800 grames device (Mavic Air 2 + Insta360 Sphere)
Because the movie is perfect for seeing a super intersection with 10+ floor buildings and a lot of people in this video ... check if doing these vertical maneuvers in those intersections over so many people is legal
Usually, in the law, it is written something else, and you need to wait 30 days for approval from the City and Airport authorities to do this kind of movie (some never came - Spain, for example)
Unfortunately, I have to wait for Insta360 to make their own drone with a sphere under 250 grams
Probably when flying cars will become normal flying objects, the laws for drones will become better
Recently I visited Rome, Italy, and there are 3 airports and so many protected historical places that you have only very small areas where you can make a movie
Unfortunately, the laws are not friendly with the drone movie makers
- expect that a lot of drone movies that you watch are not exactly legal (I am talking about Air Authorities' approval, not about privacy laws), learn and check before you start investing in expensive equipment

Any consideration in redesigning the original "Invisible Drone" accessory that was made for the original Mavic Pro? That thing never delivered as advertised and many of us got sucked in on purchasing it but it's basically unusable. I'd buy a new redesigned one that was like this for the older Mavic Pro!!
