okay, a few things i loved

1) your transitions! the hat? the way snufkin turns and it’s him walking out of moomin valley? poetic cinema.

2) snufkin’s grin when he’s standing at the window??? he’s so smitten! i’m weak!

3) moomin running down the hill so fast that he stumbles??? cute cute cute!

4) their lil dance!! dancing kings, young and sweet, only

5) moomin grabbing snufkin’s hat. that’s all.

6) them holding hands. i’m gay.

and, overall, you just have a good feel for beat and how to show it in animatics and art, which is very fun to watch. also, i feel like most moomin fan art focuses on moomin’s pov. which is totally fine and often stellar, but i love that you chose to look at how snufkin feels about moomin instead of the other way around. this was a good animatic and i’ve watched it like five times.

I watched this video and went down a moomin rabbit hole and now I’m four episodes into moomin valley and I’m literally so invested I didn’t even watch the original moomin series as a kid or anything but it’s so wholesome I love it so much thank you for introducing me to it

Scarcely has there ever been a friendship more romantic and wholesome than that of Moomin and Snufkin. I can't help but cry every time I see something of them together; they are so sweet, whether you see them as friends or more. This tribute was particularly beautiful.

Snufkin was the person who made me accept that I was trans because I thought I was too quiet and effeminate to be a boy but then I saw that he was far more shy than I was and that made me feel seen

Oh my god I love this. Not only the animation's fluidity, but Moomin and Snufkin's expressions and just emotions...I smiled so much watching this lol. This also makes me wonder if Moominvalley 2019 will have any gay energy between these two?
