1) Yes, my parents used to let me eat sugary food. However, they didn't let me eat sugary food before the main course. Only as a desert, after a meal.
2) He could get me out if he was my boss and told me that next day I couldn't work
3) Your video lessons encouraging me to go on to learn English and don't give up.
4) My boss had me describe all tasks. I work in an IT company and every 2 weeks we have a pack of tasks with only titles. However, I should describe all of them, but in some of them, I don't even know what we should do.
5) I'm an only child, but I have 2 older cousins who made me bring their toys

Hi Aly. Another similar structure is: to have/get something done. I find it quite useful especially when I don't need to specify the subject of the action. Many thanks.

1-My parents always let me do whatever floats my boat.
2-They couldn't get me to come out cuz as soon I came back from outside, I hit the hay,
3- It was about a few weeks ago, I encouraged someone to continue learning English cuz he was feeling down at that time.
4- Let's suppose that I have a boss, He would probably make me do most of the tasks since I'm gonna be new to pretty much everything.
5-My older brother used to make me go outside to buy things to him as if I were his servant or something.

Thanks for the lesson♥
