mine had the same problem, took the carb apart and it was covered in thick deposits from over the years, cleaned it out, changed the oil and put in a new spark plug and now it runs fine

Just had the SAME EXACT PROBLEM LOL I JUST FIXED MINES TOO NEEDS A CARB CLEAN WITH A AIR DUSTER AND MAKE SURE THERS NO AIRLEAKS AND TIGHTEN YOUR AIR MIXTURE SCREW 👌FIXED MINES IN NO PROBLEM TRY IT
