Originally hailing from the UK, Andrew ‘Stan’ Mair shares a two-hour set of Northern Soul records.

What is Northern Soul? It's primarily Black American soul and R&B music made during the '60s and '70s, that gained enormous popularity in the United Kingdom in the 1960s. The name comes from the music — "Soul" — and the region it was so popular — "Northern" England.

Andrew 'Stan' Mair is on a personal mission to DJ his Northern Soul records in all 50 States of the US this year and into 2025. Mair kicked off his "tour" in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 4th, 2024. We enjoyed a few pints during the set 🍻

Wow. I am having a hard time putting words to my feelings and emotions now listening to this AMAZING set and the classics that I haven't heard in years, and some that I never heard ever!

Such a great set and this makes me want to open a new business to spin Soul music and open a dance hall or a day/night club serving coffee and assorted non alcoholic drinks and have it as a safe place for everyone to chill, share stories, and enjoy a chill environment to escape the world and all of the negativity in it!
