This Trans Am is a beauty you want to see! Chris Ryan of Ryan's Rod & Kustom came by the POWERNATION Studio with the 1978 Trans Am he restored - Mullet Missile. He took the Trans Am and replaced the cheesy, dated aspects with timeless, custom work. From the bumpers to the interior to under the hood there is no part of this car left untouched.

Overall, beautiful car. Im not a fan off round headlights or the red interior. But would like to see a modern version of this in production. Overall, beautiful car and i appreciate all the work that went into it

They may not have been too overpowered in those years but the 77’-79’ body styles still look the best of all the TA’s

Such a nice car, and hate to say it, but two things completely ruin it for me.
The round headlights. While the squared lights may be something that was not popular on cars in general, but when Pontiac did the facelift they nailed incorporating the lights.
The LS. Really? All that work, all that stuff to make it cool and you couldn't contract Butler to build you a nice all alu Pontiac 535 or something? Leaves the car with no soul.

(SIGH) It always depresses me when people swap an LS for an original Pontiac. I know LS's are better, plentiful, and cheaper to build for the same amount of power, but it still depresses me.
