Listen. Keiino he's a fantastic group, they always bring it, they are the model of consistency for MGP. That being said, this was 1, 000% not the year to send them. Gåte has the chance to do something special this year, and I am behind them 1000%.

I cannot believe that Gåte will be for Norway at Eurovision. Starting listening in 2003 with their EPs and studio albums Jygri and Iselija I had them as the "unknown", something loved, mysterious and different than usual. From one aspect glad that they will be known to much wider audience in Europe and elsewhere but on the other hand I feel I lose that old magic 20 years and more ago...good luck!

Shoutout to the Czech jury for being the only one to give 12 to Gåte and also only giving 6 points to Keiino, those 6 points were legit all the difference in the end

Gåte is a Norwegian folk rock band established in Trondheim in 1999. The band combines traditional Norwegian folk music and explosive rock.
Their contribution "Ulveham" is based on an old coal lid, and the text lines are based on a 1, 000-year-old medieval ballad.
The song is a story of young maiden that undergoes a series of injustices, but by upholding justice and goodness, even in the toughest trials, she triumphs over evil forces and breaks the curse placed upon her.

People really out here being mad at Norway for choosing a song rich with traditional and cultural singing, yet have no problem when other european countries do the same in Eurovision. This is what Norwegian culture is, and it’s about time we show the rest of Europe it.

Keiino and Gate were my bets to win this MGP; how I wish there were 2 winners because both of them did a great performance respectively. But then, I respect whoever Norway especially has voted for. Meanwhile, kudos to Marion and Fredrik for a great hosting; then, I applaud all the participants from semi finals to final for a their respective efforts in this NF.
