I don't think about "prepping" anymore, I just get on with it as it makes sense to do now, in this expensive and skeptical world we live in. And the more I do, the more I want to learn and "put by". And the more I want to stay in my kitchen and leave all the ugly behind by focusing on my prepping.

The news right now is horrible. Can't watch it without getting mad, sad or scared, or all three. Watching your videos is pleasant and I usually learn something.

After 12 years as a 911 Call Taker I’m 65 years old and finally retired. I’m so excited to start my garden this year. I recently found your channel and appreciate your videos. 😊

Your house is adorable! And that yard is a dream!

Right now? My big concern is trying to get a driver’s license at nearly 47 years. About a year ago our family relocated from America to another country to be closer to his family. We love it here, but I can only drive on my USA state license until the end of March 2024. The clock is ticking. My test is today and probably will be over by the time you read this comment (because time zones).

I’m also starting my first real garden this year, assuming my seeds sprout.

Hi thank you for showing us your beautiful property. When my children grew up I started thinking about what to do with my “free time”. My grand parents had huge gardens on their small properties. My mother’s parents had fig, pear, apple, peach trees grapes and the usual garden things. My father’s parents had apple trees and the usual tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, onions etc… I was very young when my grand parents died but I remember them preserving what they grew and they had it for the winter. If friends and family needed help with food my grandparents help out. I guess I should tell you this was around 1920’s till they past away. I wish someone had shown me how to can so now I have the time to learn I’m gardening and sharing what we have I’m canning and having a ball. I’m even learning how to use some flowers to make teas. I enjoy how you show how to use everything so you don’t have waist. Have a great day 😊

I love watching gardening, cooking, preserving and fermenting videos. Every evening I go through the videos that were uploaded during the day and watch. I loved getting a view of what you see every day. It's awesome. Thanks for taking us on your walk.

I am just on my phone and had no problem with hearing you. I would love to see you gardening or just taking a walk around your property as you did. Loved seeing your chickens. I would hate that I would not get to see you as much. I’ve done a lot of your canning recipes that you have shown and loved everything we have tried. Love you lady and seeing less of you saddens me.

Yes it was beautiful here too…NC…camera view looks sharp and very good……Sound ok also…Not worrying about anything…I listen to the doom and gloom but what will be will be ……..prepping and getting garden ready, crocheting Amigurumi for great grands……thanking God for what he has given me and just being happy to be alive and fortunate to have a healthy mental attitude…..unfortunately, most of the generation of today are not like us….they are very mixed up with their thinking…..I pray for them…….. you take care…👋🏻👵🏻

I enjoy your videos. I especially liked the one you did on the medical hack. It's good to hear from someone who actually knows what they're talking about. You should do videos that give you joy. Who needs another "job"? We're in East TN. We set out 3 fruit trees, another blueberry and another muscadine plant today. We could plant potatoes and/or peas, but it's too wet, and supposed to rain again in 2 days - so we wait. I'm not worried about anything except our kids and grandkids. They think we're crazy preppers, lol, but being raised by Depression era parents, we've lived this way all our lives. We just turned 70 and live on a farm. No animals, but huge vegetable gardens. We trust in the Lord and try to be good stewards of what we've been blessed with. Thank you for what you do. I enjoy all your videos. You do you!

I am not afraid. I was gonna move in with you but that's too much work. When it's my time it's my time. I'm old and still am grateful that I can still walk, talk and get to the bathroom on my own. I have no control over insanity so don't worry be happy 🇧🇴🇧🇴

Every video you've done has been enjoyable! Whether it's learning something new, or seeing how you do something, or just visiting like today - it's all good. I haven't been commenting much lately since we're also taking advantage of the weather and replacing some garden beds. And I ventured into learning soil blocking with 72 done, seedlings popping up all over. And that meant a better grow house was needed so we have an indoor greenhouse now. "Some assembly required" - omg. Your home and property are just gorgeous! My dream home in real life. Thank you for everything you've done and will do 💞

Loved the walk about. I guess I was prepping a long time ago and didn’t call it that. Just never liked running out of things. I’ve been trying to eat down my stockpile. Only stocking deals I can find. I like all your videos, whatever you want to show us!

You look and sound great, even outside it was good. Beautiful scenery in your backyard with the stream and waterfall sounds awesome.
Pretty chickens. Won’t be long before it’s gardening season. I seen the deer, they are so beautiful. I used to have deer and wild turkeys come in my yard everyday till a neighbor started shooting at them.
