He is such a great kid, I have a smile on my face the entire time he's talking or skating. The joy he has for what he does is infectious.  We can't wait to see the amazing things in store for Jason, best of luck in Sochi!!

His likability and charm are unbelievable! I've been following him for a long time and all that fame and stardom have not affected him a tad. He puts his heart into what he does, and does it so beautifully and joyously that you can't help but admire him!! GO JASON!

I could not tell the difference between a Triple or Quad jump but figure skating has always been my favorite winter sport. Men figure skating has lost some of the artistry that us regular folk enjoy, that mezmerization of a beautifully interpreted program, that connection to the audience, and  I have to be honest and say very few men skaters have stood out to me and Jason is only the third, the first being, of course Scott Hamilton and then Elvis Stojko, and while they are great, I think Jason has just become the crown prince of male figure skating for alot of people. We are witnessing a star being born. Never change Jason, be you and let that wonderful personality shine and be that performer with the natural grace and skill we have missed for far too long, thank you for bringing it sir, are a masterpiece..

Jason is amazingly humble and just seeing how excited he is to talk to one of the Riverdancers makes me smile.  He is so talented, he's going to take the sport by storm.

I was wondering if any of the Riverdance performers got a chance to see his LP. I'm glad they enjoyed it as well! His personality is refreshing and innocent. He sounds like a 19 year old but skates with the poise of a 10 year veteran, and that is a great combination. His career is going to be a great one! And I think I can speak for most people when I say that if there ever is a "Riverdance on Ice starring Jason Brown" I'm Good luck in Sochi Jason!

What? No views? How can that be with all the thumbs up? I watched it all the way through, thinking I would be the first, but of course it still says no views.

I never got the chance to take lessons when I was young and only ice skated once on an outdoor tidal pond in New Jersey. I was able to roller skate as a teenager and wanted to learn how to do everything, including dancing on skates.

I had a buddy who was good enough to compete and he would give me a lot of compliments by telling me how he thought I would do really well with lessons, but I don't remember him trying to teach me. I think all that I learned was just something I picked up on my own and I was never satisfied with what I could do.

I tried ice skating on an indoor skating rink a couple of times and found it next to impossible to keep from letting my ankles relax, thus skating on the sides of the skates. Then I fell hard on an elbow and injured it badly, so never went again.

I last roller skated about five years ago, when I discovered that my favorite childhood skating rink had opened up again. I was concerned about falling, because I've gained so much weight that my center of balance has shifted significantly and I was in my 60s. I'm now seventy and might still try it again.

I tried really hard not to push myself enough to fall that last time but finally did take a pretty good tumble. I can't remember now whether I rolled like I would have as a teenager or if I've just put on enough padding that I bounced. Anyway, I didn't get hurt but I scared the heck out of one of the officials, who raced out to see if I was okay. Good thing, because I probably would have just flopped around trying to stand without his help. I'm not nearly as flexible now as I used to be.

Bottom line is that I totally respect the skills and dedication of such skaters as this. BRAVO!

Jason, you are the most exciting male skater that has come along in years.  There are many great skaters that have paved the way for you, but you are the most fun to watch... never a dull moment, all that endurance training is worth it!  Your programs just keep building and building and building, the excitement.  I hope your training includes really good nutrition to keep you balanced, and I wish you all the best on and off the ice.
