Not a good look. The sheriff went from saying there are no gangs, to there are "cliques" that he's discouraging, to claiming that he's done more than anyone to break up the deputy gangs. This is a case where silence is violence.

I remember last year seeing someone wearing a Bandidos patch well driving a motorcycle in East LA. I was confused because I knew of the outlaw biker gang . Later I learned of the LASD gang and was shocked . Cops literally acting like gang members and bikers .

Up till recently, I thought being subpoenaed meant you must appear in front of the group that issued the subpoena, or face some kind of harsh consequences, like jail time and/or a very stiff fine... but apparently I’m wrong. Nowadays, if you don’t want to go, just don’t. They’ll get along without ya. Instead of calling them subpoenas they should start calling them invitations.

When the initiation to get into one of these gangs is killing a random person on the street, it is not difficult to think that if you testify against the department and their gangs, one of the gangs would just make you a target of their next initiand. It would be like testifying against a person that murders witnesses against them, what are the chances you survive the experience?
