Rigor set in, so you have ho hydrate it by steaming it like asparagus. Then you pin it to a foam board and put it on display. You generally don't have to do anything else, but if you mean forever ever, then you can put clear coat on it. For more info, the research field is called entomology, so look into it. There are also many many long term careers in the entomology field, so have fun.
