Andre Previn is perhaps best known as a conductor of classical music, but in the 1950s and early 1960s he was one of the best jazz pianists in the world. During the years 1958-1962, he produced some classic jazz albums with a string orchestra, including Like Young, Like Blue, Thinking of You, A Touch of Elegance, and The Faraway Part of Town. “Near To No One,” the haunting theme from the 1959 MGM film, "The Scapegoat" was composed by Bronisław Kaper. It was recorded by André Previn and his orchestra for his 1962 Columbia LP, Faraway Part Of Town, which unfortunately has not been released on CD.

The montage and music were just what I needed after a less than ideal day at work. Bellissimo! Grazie!

Near To No One. I wonder just how many people fit that title? Probably more than you would think 🤔
