An experienced fisherman went missing during a Monday excursion at the Muir Beach overlook. Two other fishermen were rescued during the incident. All three men are cousins. The missing man's cousin said he tried to save his family member, but the waves were too strong. The Coast Guard will resume searching with helicopters at dawn.

I see lot of Mexicans and filipino people fishing in risky places all over Hwy 1 beaches. How naive are these people? It is not worth risking your life to get few fishes from the ocean. Now this family of that missing man is living in hell. Is that worth it?

Never ever trust the surf. Waves will not be something you can out swim

They had to watch a man die in front of his cousins. That’s hard.
