Suibhne's video just jumps into the late occupants of Iron-age British Isles, as if they popped up out of nowhere. While I think that if one wants "history" one has to start with some sort of record, archeological discoveries are plentiful in the British Isles, of a very deep human settlement. The big question is what remains (DNA, culture) of the earlier people who lived on these islands.

James VI & I was a Presbyterian and Charles I was raised Anglican. It was Charles II who was the Catholic, albeit he converted on his deathbed. James II was the last out-and-out Catholic monarch of England and Scotland.

Still it rolls on. Scottish National party want independence, what happens then, well Shetland have said they will become independent, applying for Crown Dependency status. Orkney are also going down that route. Looks like the west coast is the main driver. Been like this for ages, don't you just love it. No change there then.
