I am only 12, but I have had to deal with so much. I was baptized when I was 5 by my Biological mother, who is not a good person and only baptized me for attention. Next Sunday me and my Dad and Stepmom are going to church together for the first time. I am in 7th grade and I now understand the greatness of god, bringing me to my dad and stepmom, who treat me amazingly. God bless everyone here.

In middle school I definitely struggled with my faith. I saw people didn’t believe in him. It was like it was “uncool” to believe in something. When I would mention that I believed in him, people got annoyed. Including my friends. I started hiding my faith. The more I hid it, the more I started losing it. Well, my mother, being the most amazing women ever, saw this and she took me out of school for the rest of 7th grade and all of 8th grade. It took some time before I could come back to faith. But I’m back and happy as ever. I do still have a little pain and scars left over but god heals! It may take a little more time but I am so much more happy than I was in middle school. Like so much. I don’t feel afraid and I feel like I can breathe again!

I lost my daughter to cancer 2-1/2 years ago. I discovered this band because I was curled in a chair for about a year just listening to CCM. God began to talk to me. Finally, through the music & lyrics, I was able to come out of the hole I was burying myself in. I had to repeat, "GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN!" OVER AND OVER. I couldn't let him steal my joy.
