Thanks for coming down Adam, lets hope people have a little more understanding of the world of collectors and there right to buy what they desire .
Although i see it didnt take long for a " more money than sense " comment,

20 years ago I had a sapphire cossie, I used it as my daily, even used it for Chinese deliveries twice a week for a while. Bought for under 2k sold it after 4 years for 3k became a track car and got crashed 😢😢 amazing how they’ve went up . If you can keep yours and don’t be scared to use it 👌👍

In my eyes the Sierra Cosworth RS500 is the best car Ford made 😉😎

I can fully understand the passion for these cars the sierra was ahead of it's time back in the day and still looks good now 👌

Love the vids and especially the ones with Paul but I would say, you aren’t necessarily a “hater” just because you don’t see the value in something.
Let’s face it, it is a stupid amount of money for an old Ford, as lovely as they are.
But the buyer must be happy, as will be the seller, so it’s none of my business.
As a car though I’d walk straight past one for any number of cars at that price point. But, it hasn’t been bought as a car, it has been bought as an investment.
To each their own.
This notion though, that anyone who doesn’t agree is a hater or jealous, isn’t correct.

I’m currently sat in an Asda car park watching this and can confirm there are no RS500s here 😂

Hi Adam and Paul, great conversation as usual. What an amazing situation, I never dreamed of seeing a Cozzie at over half a million pounds, PDI checking them, servicing and repairing them back in the 80's when they were in the £20K's they seemed expensive. Good luck to the guy who bought it, (of course I'm jealous) lol, very shrewd investment, and raised the whole bar eh.!! Let's watch the market with interest, BTW I now agree with your predicted £1, 000, 000 Cozzie in the future. Alex.

Adam I’d like to see a video of Paul doing a walk around of your 3 door and an in depth opinion on its overall condition and originality etc. I’d love to see your reaction as he picks his way through the good and the bad bits lol.

Holy Shit, I knew low mileage RS500 examples were well over £100k but this is crazy yet very exciting, even that ash black sapphire for £97k is awesome, I need to keep doing the lottery, superb video chaps 👍😉💪

A massive congratulations to the new owner of the RS500 and the same to the previous owner, there’s always someone to be negative, same when I won the Escort RS Cosworth on Dream car saying I would sell it it and make profit on it, like I said to them all, I entered the competition to win my dream car not really interested how much there making as will not be selling it, another top video Adam keep them coming 👍👍👍

People need to listen to the likes of this guy.
Petrol heads will know of Rabbit (Rob Pitts) who told people two or three years back to buy ODS Chevy trucks as the price was only going one way, UP. Same thing the haters laughing in the back ground. What's happened, the prices have shot up..

Paul hit the nail on the head re jealous arseholes. If a car sells for 600k then it's worth 600k - to the guy who bought it.

Thing is guys the people from this generation that worship these cars don’t go on forever..they all die off & the next generation they don’t mean anything to & prices inevitably collapse…old brass cars aren’t worth what they used to be..why..because the enthusiasts are all dead…saying that what an amazing price 👍

Beautiful classic... but not worth THAT amount.. that's a decent house. Couple of nice motors.. couple of nice motorbikes.. and probably still 100 grand left! I love cosies... but not worth over half a million

They are great cars, i had the chance to buy a moonstone 500 when i worked at Collins for 4500 pounds it had had the origional engine and wheels changed at 5k for a power engineering 2.4l and then converted back to the origional spec, but at 20 in the 1990s the insurance was insane 20k
