Scrat is basically an immortal being that will never die

I would also like to point out that, while in space, Scrat was able to walk completely normaly, despite having not momentum in the vacuum. His tears also regenerate the energy in the spaceship he had learned to drive in seconds. These two feats may imply that Scrat has the ability to defy any known laws of creation and can simply create energy at will. Scientists are looking further into this as we speak.

Scrat also survived the supernova that caused the black hole in the first place without a scratch

i'd like to mention that he resisted the force of the black hole before being sucked in which i think could categorize into speed

In Ice Age 4, Scrat goes underwater and under the normal pressure level, instead of dying he just loses the length of his limbs and his body minimalized.

In the cut about Scrat and the Youngling, Scrat willingly comes back to life by entering his own body.

Scrat doesn’t have plot armor, if he had plot armor, he would’ve gotten the nut at the beginning of the first Ice Age to be stored without any problems, instead the universe works its will against him and the nut resulting in cosmic warfare. The war only ends once the universe bends to the will of the being known as Scrat, anticipating a backstab from seemingly paracausal forces, but the rebellion doesn’t come resulting in Scrat bending fate and reality to his will as he consumes the nut. Scrat doesn’t die to water, he allows for false weaknesses to hinder him, delaying his inevitable victory merely for his own amusement.

Hear's my theory: as of now scrat has died twice... once was in "melt down" (as shown) and another was in the baby scrat episode "nut the end" where he dies of old age and comes back basically out of anger. the one thing those two have in comon is he was helping others, he saved litterally everyone by opening up the ice for the water, and died of age after dedicating himself to raising the baby. (also worth note the baby didn't age while scrat became senile) maybe scrat is already dead and can only join the after life when he shows selflessness... so the reason nothing he goes through kills him is because he hasn't gotten over his greed.
