Zillow’s “Make Me Move” owners are a great source for future business to get more listings. They are most likely not going to be immediate business for you (although they can be occasionally). How do you convert them into salable listings either immediate or in the future?

Here are the three keys steps:
Talk to them. Start the conversation so you can know how motivated they are. If they are really ready to sell now, set an appointment and go take the listing and sell it. If not…
Connect with them by exchanging information. Don’t try to convince unmotivated people to meet for a listing presentation. That will only create resistance and keep them from meeting with you when they are motivated. Think about what they want, not what you want.
Stay in touch with them. This allows you to build a relationship and become their go-to agent without an competition from other agents.

I have been struggling with scripts for years and never could "own" real estate scripts. I just don't like misleading folks. I tried to wing it on calls and was totally destroyed, because I didn't know how to respond to objections. I thought this would be easier because I am a military veteran, I worked in medical device sales for 16 years, and I started a business that failed. I thought I knew all about handling objections, so I thought it would be easy. I have worked on multimillion dollar deals, but I was handed my A$$ by some disgruntled housewives. That destroyed my confidence and made me doubt my skills.

I found your scripts two weeks ago and I finally have the motivation to call people because I am not spewing BS. Before I would literally rather pull my own fingernails. I have listened to your podcasts and I have a few takeaways that will keep me motivated to find a way to make a living for my family. #1 Grow the hell up and get over the fact that I despise making calls. I am the only one that is going to make it rain for me. #2 I am committed to going Pro. I will not be mediocre. No truer words have been spoken my fellow bald headed bro. Excellent freaking stuff!

Our zestimates in this area are notoriously low, by about 20% at least!

Too bad YesMasters doesn't keep the existing VORTEX clients up to date with the new course materials but instead makes them pay to upgrade. Most courses you get and pay so much for gives you lifetime updates...What happened here?

Zestimates are NOT always inflated...they are just always OFF(plus OR minus) by a fair amount. Zillow itself says that it can be very off at times. PLEASE Mr. Consumer, NEVER listen to a zestimate other than to ballpark a price. Contact your local RE expert and they'll be glad to help you out.

Kevin. In my office there 170 agents. Is this really a solid career? The security is basically zero. Other careers like cop or firemen in CA average $100k a year plus insane benefits. Few agents my office actually have enough deals make good income and those that do have MASSIVE expenses like ZILLOW PREMIER ADS - being listed as only agent on ur listings, realtor.com, magazines etc etc . Some zips realtors paying $20, 000 a year for 10 leads a month. One escrow lady told me at her condo she gets postcards from like 20 agents. The market is so flooded it's maddening. I think states should require a bachelors degree to thin out folks. What do u think of the $800 KW bold course?

These are bad examples someone that can afford a 7 million dollar home isnt gunna bat an eye at for the house they want lol
